Development of HIV/AIDS e-VCT response services: Exploratory survey on the suitability of the initiative in addressing the youths problems in Nigeria.

This study was carried out to ascertain the acceptabilty amongst youths in addressing problems they face in VCT services.It was carried out in 3 states of the Nigerian federation, Anambra State, Enugu State and Delta state.These states have good population of youths with commercial activities, higher institutions and governmental offices which attracts more youth migration.The e-VCT services is to use modern information technology[IT] into addressing and giving VCT services to youths that needs them.
These studies shows that youths would want to use VCT services if it is done in a convinent location, confidential and with privacy rights.This is exactly what this method of VCT services stands to address. VCT is believed to be an appropiate entry point into addressing young people HIV/AIDS prevention and care needs.
These services is baseline in the battle of HIV problems globally. However development of such services has been difficult with program planners facing some sort of complex problems.Youths in HIV/AIDS prevalent areas has always indicated their interest to know their HIV status especially when some fundamental pertinent problems in the services is addressed promptly. Such Problems youths faces in the use of VCT services has varied according to gender demand and priority concerns amongst them.
The e-VCT services will use online, chatting SMS, mobile phones and door to door counselling in the VCT services. This survey indicates that youths accept the services[e-VCT] because of the privacy and convinent involved. From the studies, e-VCT services Response Services becomes an option in the associated problems of VCT services uses in the fight against HIV/AIDS in Nigeria. And the services could find its importance uses in our countries globally.are provided to buttress the counseling received, people will feel comfortable when affected
