Information about accommodation for conference delegates The unofficial conference hotel is Hotel Maria Cristina, close to the Reforma Avenue. We have had good experiences with this hotel during past conferences and we will also arrange group transportation from the hotel to the conference center every morning during the event (included in the registration fee). Participants who live in other hotels or in host families in the Zona Rosa area and the surrounding areas, are also recommended to use the group transportation from here (but should inform us in advance, so we know how many seats we will be needing). It is also very quick easy to get to Maria Cristina via microbus or taxi on the Reforma avenue from the downtown area. Hotel Maria Christina is a comfortable hotel in a nice and quiet area, walking distance from Zona Rosa. The building is charming, in Spanish colonial style, with a delightful garden courtyard. The price for a double room here will be 737 pesos (ca. 72 US dollars) and a single room 667 pesos (ca.65 US dollars depending on exchange rate and the kind of payment you prefer). Participants in the conference paying directly to the hotel in cash (MEXICAN PESOS, if you pay in US dollar, they will charge you the dollar rate) will receive a 10% discount. Below we have listed a representative selection of other conveniently located Mexico City hotels in different price categories. The prices below are in US-Dollars. If you pay the pesos price directly to the hotel upon arrival or departure, you will often get a better price due to frequent fluctuation in the currency exchange value. We have included contact information for each hotel. If you prefer, we can also make a reservation for you in one of these hotels or send you further suggestions. Please send an e-mail to info@enkidumagazine.com for further details.
