Internships at Enkidu Magazine and the International Society for Cultural History and Cultural Studies in Mexico City
Enkidu Magazine and the International Society for Cultural History and Cultural Studies offer qualified international students the opportunity to participate in a wide range of internships available in our offices in Mexico City. In general, most internships last for 3 or 6 months, at 20 - 30 hours per week. 

An internship with us is a wonderful opportunity to gain international experience and learn about a professional field through work in an exceptionally global and interesting work environment. While in general the internships at Enkidu Magazine and The International Society for Cultural History and Cultural Studies (CHiCS) in Mexico City are unpaid, your experience with us will greatly enhance your resumé. As an intern in our organisation, you will:

  • Gain valuable international work experience
  • Broaden your world view.
  • Refine your professional skills.
  • Improve your language skills.
  • Build a network of international friends and collegues.
  • Share the benefits of your expertise, knowledge and background.
  • Experience a new culture and society, not as a tourist, but as an insider.
  • Prepare for future employment or residence in another country.

The working languages of Enkidu Magazine and the International Society for Cultural History and Cultural Studies are English and Spanish. Excellent command of at least one of these languages is therefore required. Due to the international character of our activities and the multilingual and multinational composition of our work force, English tends to be the most used language for internal communication in the organisation. Staff meetings are usually conducted in both languages. However, knowlege in any additional language will be highly appreciated and increases your chances of engagement.  

Chics and Enkidu Magazine offers a large variety of activities in many interesting and exiting fields extending from the participation in the organisation and implementation of global academic events, to human rights and aids activism, and editorial and administrative tasks in our different departments. If you would like to receive academic credit for your work with our organisation, please indicate the requirements of your institution.

The Programs are open to any applicant who meets the listed requirements in the individual internship descriptions - professionals, non-professionals, retirees, students, recent graduates...
