All speakers are required to
register and pay a registration fee. You will normally be notified
within 2 weeks if your proposal has been accepted or rejected by
the Academic Committee.
Everyone who registers for Aids in Culture:
Explorations in the Cultural History of Aids will be able to
attend all formal conference sessions including sub-conferences,
special panel sessions, and all conference related social,
cultural and academic events that take place at participating
institutions before and during the event.
In addition, all conference delegates carrying their name badge
(which will be distributed at the registration desk), will have
free, or discounted access to various theater plays, film
presentations and other conference related artistic events
organised in the participating institutions before and during the
conference.
Enkidu and the participating organisations
will not be able to provide travel support for conference
delegates. It is therefore strongly recommended to apply for a
scholarship or a grant from other sources. Delegates from non-OECD
countries and students and unwaged delegates from any country who
do not receive financial support to attend the conference, can
apply for a reduced registration fee.
